Roles and Responsibilities


We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Assistant Vice President to join EDB’s Brand, Marketing & Communications’ team to market Singapore as a preferred business location. The ideal candidate brings expertise in running digital-first demand generation programmes, leveraging website, email, social and paid media to build an omni-channel marketing strategy. The role will also help drive best practices across digital marketing and the management of marketing technologies/ systems to enable stronger sales and marketing integration within the organisation. The scope of work is as such:


  • Defines and implements effective digital marketing programmes to drive lead acquisitions and engagement at scale: This means deploying an optimal marketing mix that includes and not limited to digital paid media, search optimisation, email, website personalisation campaigns, etc that will in turn translate into a seamless omni-channel customer experiences
  • Designs clear user journeys and ensures that relevant digital products are served to the right audience at the right stage of the customer funnel
  • Optimises marketing funnel & lead management processes: This entails reviewing existing lead scoring models in collaboration with business and marketing, streamlining and socialising lead collection processes as well as designing workflows to enable effective lead qualification and handoff processes
  • Maintains and manages all digital systems and marketing databases: This includes planning, evaluating, procuring and implementation of new martech systems and tools where required, while weighing costs, complexities, business goals and ROI
  • Drives strong data governance: The objective is to ensure that internal data management practices comply with key data regulations and to drive good data hygiene practices across teams
  • Oversees channel analytics and KPIs reporting for performance management: This includes setting up analytics and reporting framework for each channel (i.e. email, website, paid media, etc) as well as across campaigns at a divisional level to measure effectiveness and efficiencies of marketing initiatives. Metrics would be campaign dependent, and should also align with key business outcomes to assess impact and attribution
  • Assumes team management responsibilities: Leads and oversees a team of Digital Marketing officers and agency partners to achieve marketing outcomes for the organisation


To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be

  • At least 10-12 years in digital marketing and marketing automation/ marketing operations roles, preferably in a B2B organization
  • Hands-on experience/knowledge in Marketing Automation Platforms (Eloqua) and CRM systems (Salesforce). Knowledge/experience in Tableau, Cvent and Adobe Analytics is a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of inbound marketing/demand generation concepts and best practices
  • Experience in identifying addressable target audiences and devising campaigns to engage, inform and convert
  • Data and tech-savvy, proficient with excel data analysis
  • Meticulous and strong attention to details, a problem solver who can meet goals in creative ways with limited resources
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively engage and manage multiple stakeholders and their needs and expectations
  • Able to manage multiple projects while keeping to deadlines
  • Singaporean
