About FRAP

As part of EDB’s continuous efforts to develop the suite of industries in Singapore, FRAP division is an imperative business partner to our officers in the industry and policy groups.


As a FRAP business partner, you will be responsible for providing advisory on procure to pay value chain.  This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various stakeholders.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders on:
  1. Budget management such as budget analysis/evaluation, budget preparation, monitoring and reporting.
  2. Procurement activities such as policy formulation, co-solution and vet procurement requirement specifications and approvals for compliance to procurement procedures, processes and documentation.
  3. Financial reporting and management which includes accounts payable activities such as payment processing, data analytics, fixed assets and tax implications.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, while keeping abreast of policies, processes and key risks.


To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration; or equivalent.
  • Applicants should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the areas of procurement, audit, and/or accounting.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Good problem solving and critical thinking skills, results oriented and able to work effectively under pressure or on multiple priorities and projects.
  • Some knowledge in systems implementation, data analytics and Government Procurement Instruction Manuals would be an advantage.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • A keen learner with a strong drive for operational excellence.
