About Electronics Division

The Electronics division focuses on developing the Semiconductor and Electronic Components industries which combine to be the largest manufacturing sector contributor to Singapore’s GDP.  Singapore’s Electronics industry is vibrant and dynamic – making about 1-in-10 of the world’s semiconductors, 40% of the world’s hard disk drive media, state-of-the-art lithium batteries, novel MEMS devices, and advanced LCD and OLED displays.

In this role, your key responsibilities will be to manage the team’s operational and administrative needs. This may include liaising with internal and external stakeholders to schedule meetings and address general queries, coordinating logistical plans for overseas trips, managing internal processes to ensure divisional quality, timeliness and compliance with corporate deliverables, maintaining databases and proper documentation of files, as well as preparing reports for management use.

As a Project Officer with the Electronics Division, you will be responsible to:

  • Coordinate, update and maintain team's calendars, travel records based on the appointments, meetings, and conferences arranged
  • Communicate and liaise with internal and external contacts, such as representatives of other organisation, overseas counterparts, for arrangement of meetings (including logistical arrangements)
  • Exercise initiative to follow-up with related parties/stakeholders for clarification or additional inputs where required
  • Provide administrative support for the division to ensure smooth flow of operation and information (e.g. visit programme arrangements, manage divisional inforooms, maintain stationery supply, arrangement of seat for new officers etc.)
  • Independently organise the information/data obtained to inforooms and ensure there is regular update and maintenance of relevant data sources for the team, including systems, databases, files and other data sources to ensure the information is accurate and timely.
  • Prepare routine documentation for team/ stakeholders' internal use

To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

  • Diploma from a recognized polytechnic
  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Able to engage and manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Meticulous and able to multitask
  • Proficient in using MS Office & Outlook
  • Requires a reasonable level of tact and discretion due to frequency of interaction with middle to senior level internal and external contacts.
