About Corporate Planning Division

Corporate Planning is responsible for performance management of EDB’s investment pipeline and overarching industry development objectives. We work closely with EDB’s executive leadership to determine corporate priorities/targets and translate them into EDB-internal organisational alignment and execution, as well as strategic influencing at the whole-of-government level. We also partner with other divisions to drive EDB-wide transformation efforts in data science, business intelligence, data quality and process automation.

As part of the team, you will play a critical role with the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine methodologies for EDB to establish metrics/KPIs, targets and optimal resource allocation
  • Engage senior management and business groups to develop and execute on EDB's corporate priorities
  • Design (or redesign) roles, systems and processes to support objectives (such as reporting integrity) or desired organisational outcomes
  • Support EDB's planning cycle to ensure the robustness and effectiveness of divisional plans and the organisation’s corporate strategy over the short, medium and long-term horizon
  • Perform quantitative analysis for pipeline forecasting and analytical support to diagnose performance issues in different domains
  • Collaborate with other Planning divisions at EDB and with Ministries to conduct economic studies on the health of the industries and companies in Singapore


To meet the requirements of this role, the applicant must have/ be:

  • A degree in Economics, Engineering or relevant applied/quantitative disciplines
  • 1-3 years’ working experience in a related field
  • Singaporean


The following would also be highly desirable in an applicant:

  • Highly systematic, with strong attention to detail
  • Independent, self-motivated, and inquisitive
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to logically structure and substantiate an argument
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate/present the key findings of an analysis to a non-technical audience
